This document will give a few important tips about Lobster Version 1.0 and information about configuration and specification of the Lobster application.
Hardware Requirements :
Processor - Any 2.20 ghz Processor and above
Operating System - Any Operating System coz Lobster Version 1.0 is 'Platform Independent'
Ram - Preferred Ram - 2 GB RAM and Minimum Ram - 1 GB RAM
Screen Resolution - Minimum Resolution - 1366 x 768 pixels - Preferred Resolution - 1920 x 1080
Software Requirements :
Java - Latest Version of Java - Java 1.8 update 65 or above - 1st Installation
Java Image IO Tools - 1.1 version - 2nd Installation
Lobster Version 1.0 - 3rd installation
Lobster Version 1.0 - Max Edition - Lobster Version 1.0 - Max Edition should be always used by the user as it assigns Maximum memory to the Lobster application thru the XMSRAM variable which can be customized thru 'Application Preferences Dialogbox' and 'XMSRAM Tab'.If user increases the XMSRAM value then,after 'Ok Button' is clicked in the 'Application Preferences Dialogbox',Lobster application will create BATCH files which will be placed in c:\users\[user name]\my batch files\.Copy this files into the Lobster INSTALL DIR for e.g :- c:\program files\topple software\lobster\ directory and the job is done.Lobster application has assigned maximum image sizes for 1GB RAM maximum image size to open and edit is 4000 X 4000,in 2GB RAM 8,000 X 8,000 but amazingly if the user has 16 GB RAM and assigns 8GB RAM,he can open and edit 32,000 X 32,000 images in the Lobster application and view the 64,000 x 64,000 images in the 'Browser Window' and 'Slide Show' of the Lobster Version 1.0.If the XMSRAM value is more than 50% - 60% of total memory [RAM],Lobster Version 1.0 - Max Edition will not start at all.In such a case,start the Lobster Version 1.0 - Mini Version and open 'Application Preferences' and 'XMSRAM Tab' and enter 1024mb - 1 GB RAM in the XMSRAM field which is the default value of the XMSRAM field.
Lobster Version 1.0 - Max Edition 1.0 is executed in a unconventional way as it is executed thru batch file to increase memory thru XMSRAM variable of 'Application Preferences Dialogbox' so the user will see command prompt window open along with Lobster Version 1.0 - Max Edition.User can see all the verbose output of the Lobster application in the command prompt including the 1st command java -XMS1024m LobsterOne assigning 1GB RAM to Lobster application.Usually,command prompt window will be opened but in minimized form.
If the user is facing problems coz of lesser memory like 1 GB RAM only,then restart your application and do not use any filters from menus and always use 'Dynamic Filtering Panel' coz 'Dynamic Filtering' is point and click interface for applying filters so it's not necessary to apply filter to the complete image as the user might drag and apply filter to selected area only.So,even if the image is 3000 x 3000,the user drags the mouse,filter is applied lets say to 100x100 pixels,200x200 pixels and ultimately 300x400 pixels.So,user will notice that the filter is applied smoothly while mouse dragged as there are not many pixels been filtered with mouse dragged.Also,in the 'Filter Dialogboxes',there are many duplicate arrays and images created for demonstration purpose while in mouse dragged,the filter is directly applied to image and user needs to use undos and redos consistently.So,if memory issue,restart the Lobster Version 1.0,avoid filtering thru dialogboxes by using filter from menus and use 'Dynamic Filtering Panel'.It will be confusing with so many tabs and features in the 'Dynamic Filtering Panel' but gradually user will get use to the 'Interface' of the Lobster Version 1.0.

Lobster application is not a freeware and therefore the user will have to pay for usage of the Lobster application. Lobster application is a very powerful image editor and some of the features of the Lobster application are not even present in the other image editors of the world. So, the user will have to pay $73 for every copy of the Lobster application. A small favour from a computer magazine or search engine would do wonders to the popularity and sales of Lobster application.
Even though, Lobster is a world class image editor but still it will require some reponse, help and advice from the users to make a Lobster application even better image editor. Who knows may be even the best image editor in the whole world ! User can report bugs in the Lobster application which might exist as every software even from 'Microsoft Corporation' have some bug in them. Developers can provide filters or features like 'Sort Algorithm' or 'Plugin' for improvement of Lobster application.'.
